Initially starting his journey in the High Andes close to the source of the greatest river in the world, Bruce treks through the perilous valleys of Peru. Braving the Peruvian jungles we visit the Achuar people, and undergo an intensely profound Shamanic ritual.
Moving on to a remote part of the Brazilian Amazon, Bruce explores what happens when the outside world makes contact with isolated tribes, and spending some time living with the Ribeirinho river people, hunting for the Amazon's biggest fish.
