Nigel meets with intrepid field workers catching deadly creatures and follows the scientists to discover how they take the precious venom and develop life-saving drugs from it.

With stunning natural history footage look out for the gila monster (a large lizard), brown snakes, funnel web spiders, blue-ringed octopus and pufferfish.
